FKV & Associates is committed to protecting your privacy.
This privacy statement explains why and how FKV & Associates (the Company) uses your personal data. Please read the statement and indicate your acceptance before submitting your data to the Company.
1. Why we collect personal data
As a recruitment and outsourcing agency, we are required to maintain certain information about all our employees to enable us to satisfy our operational and legal obligations. The data we collect enables us to interview, recruit, ensure placement of applicants, the provision of managed services and to meet contractual obligations of the business. We also store applicant data for selection in case new opportunities open in the future.
When you apply for a job opening posted by us, these Privacy Notice provisions will apply to the processing of your personal information. When you apply for a job opening with our Partner institutions through us, you should note that the Partner may retain your personal data and may also collect data from us in respect of the progress of your application. Any use by the Partner of your data will be in accordance with the Partner’s Privacy Notice and the Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843).
2. Personal data we collect
We collect data from you through information submitted electronically over the web or via email as well as physical records taken from walk-in clients. The data we collect includes your contact and personal information. We collect and process some or all of the following types of information from you:
- Information that you provide when you apply for a role. This includes information provided through an online job site, via email, in person at interviews and/or by any other method.
- We process personal details such as name, email address, physical address, date of birth, qualifications, experience, information relating to your employment history, skills and experience that you provide to us.
- If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
- A record of your progress through any hiring process that we may conduct.
- Sensitive data – social security, account number, health insurance information.
3. Information We Collect From Other Sources
We may receive your personal data from a third party who recommends you as a candidate for a specific job opening or for our business more generally.
4. Lawful basis for processing
We rely on legitimate interest as the lawful basis on which we collect and use your personal data. When you apply for a job opening, we rely on your consent, to disclose your personal data on the basis described below.
5. Purposes of processing
We use information held about you in the following ways:
- To consider your application in respect of a role for which you have applied.
- To consider your application in respect of other available roles.
- To communicate with you in respect of the recruitment process.
- To find appropriate candidates to fill our job openings.
- To help our service and Partners (such as the job sites through which you may have applied) to improve their services.
- For performance of a contract we have with you.
6. Data retention
Your data with the Company will be stored no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was processed and to meet obligations as required or permitted by law.
7. How to access and control your personal data
You can request to view and control the data you share with us and exercise your rights as a data subject by contacting the company via email or in writing to mail@fkvaghana.com.
Your rights include accessing, updating, correcting, and requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data
in our possession.
8. Keeping your personal information secure
We prevent unauthorised access or disclosure by physical, electronic, technical, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure your information with us.
