Window Fitter – HSB Factory

In this role, you work in a specialized production facility where timber construction meets high-end finishing. You are responsible for the precise installation of aluminium window frames and doors into Timber Frame (HSB) elements. This is a role for a craftsman who understands that while the structure is wood, the precision required for aluminium systems is absolute. You will perform high-precision assembly within a factory workflow, ensuring all elements are fully prepared before they are shipped to the project site.

It is essential that you have strong technical insight, can work independently from blueprints, and ensure every element is perfectly straight and level.

Your duties:

• Installing window frames, doors, and other aluminium parts into timber-frame (HSB) elements.
• Working from technical drawings to ensure all elements meet exact specifications.
• Setting up profiles and guidelines to ensure both the wooden elements and the aluminium frames are perfectly straight, level, and correctly aligned.
• Installing timber battens and basic framing for walls and ceilings within the production line.
• Adjusting or rebuilding wooden structures to ensure 100% accuracy before the element leaves the factory.

Required:

• You have experience fitting aluminium windows/doors (rather than just wood-on-wood).
• You are proficient at reading and interpreting technical blueprints.
• You are highly accurate with measurement tools.
• You work well in a production environment where your output affects the next stage of the build.
