About the job 1st Demolition Worker
Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret demolition plans, drawings, and safety procedures.

Carry out manual and mechanical demolition of structures, including walls, floors, ceilings, and entire buildings.

Operate demolition tools and machinery such as jackhammers, breakers, saws, and excavators.

Sort, remove, and dispose of debris and materials in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.

Identify and handle hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, lead) following proper procedures and guidelines.

Ensure all demolition activities are performed safely and in compliance with regulations.

Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to coordinate demolition work.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing hazards and securing work areas.

Conduct pre- and post-demolition safety checks.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently.

Follow all health and safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Demolition Worker in construction and/or industrial environments.

Knowledge of demolition techniques, tools, and machinery.
-
Ability to read demolition plans and technical drawings.
-
Physical strength and stamina for demanding manual work.
-
Awareness of safety regulations and hazardous material handling.
-
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Relevant certifications or training in demolition (e.g., VCA preferred).
-
Valid work permit for the Netherlands.

English level B1/B2
