    Key Responsibilities:

    • Read and interpret demolition plans, drawings, and safety procedures.
    • Carry out manual and mechanical demolition of structures, including walls, floors, ceilings, and entire buildings.
    • Operate demolition tools and machinery such as jackhammers, breakers, saws, and excavators.
    • Sort, remove, and dispose of debris and materials in accordance with environmental and safety regulations.
    • Identify and handle hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, lead) following proper procedures and guidelines.
    • Ensure all demolition activities are performed safely and in compliance with regulations.
    • Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to coordinate demolition work.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing hazards and securing work areas.
    • Conduct pre- and post-demolition safety checks.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
    • Follow all health and safety policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Demolition Worker in construction and/or industrial environments.
    • Knowledge of demolition techniques, tools, and machinery.
    • Ability to read demolition plans and technical drawings.
    • Physical strength and stamina for demanding manual work.
    • Awareness of safety regulations and hazardous material handling.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Relevant certifications or training in demolition (e.g., VCA preferred).
    • Valid work permit for the Netherlands.
    • English level B1/B2
