We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy, modern independent garage in Northampton.

The garage is clean, well presented and professionally set up, with multiple bays and the sort of space and standards you would expect from a business that takes pride in what it does. This is not a cramped, worn-out workshop - it is a good-looking operation with a strong local presence and a steady flow of work.
The role would suit a solid Technician or Mechanic who is confident carrying out servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs, and who enjoys working in a professional workshop where standards matter.
The role will involve:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately
- Supporting MOT preparation and general workshop duties
- Working on a range of vehicles in a busy independent garage environment
We are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
- Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding ability
- Experience using diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work efficiently without cutting corners
- A professional attitude and pride in your work
- Full UK driving licence
