About the job Project Manager - PM810
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to support the Lower Wait Times and System Improvement Initiative. This project involves close collaboration with diverse clinical stakeholders to drive operational and process improvements across the provincial healthcare system. The Project Manager will be embedded within the Process Improvement Office (PIO), a team committed to driving transformation and efficiency across Manitobas health services.
Key Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional teams through business transformation initiatives, including analysis, design, and implementation.

Facilitate process and operational changes aimed at reducing wait times and improving healthcare access.

Engage with clinical stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, translating them into effective solutions.

Lead organizational change management (OCM) efforts, including readiness assessments and stakeholder engagement, using Prosci (ADKAR) methodology.

Oversee implementation of best practices, provide coaching and mentoring, and ensure quality assurance on deliverables.

Collaborate with executives and top-level management to implement business architecture strategies and develop strategic roadmaps.

Support implementation of technology solutions within healthcare settings, ensuring alignment with clinical and operational needs.
Required Qualifications

Valid Prosci (ADKAR) Organizational Change Management Certification

Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Business Analysis

Prince2 Foundation Certification

Business Architecture Certification
Required Experience

Minimum 10 years leading business transformation initiatives, with at least one healthcare-related project.

Minimum 5 years leading OCM initiatives, including at least one project using Prosci methodology.

Minimum 5 years overseeing adoption of best practices, team leadership, and practitioner coaching.

Minimum 5 years working with clinical stakeholders to define and implement process and system improvements in healthcare.

Minimum 1 year of experience implementing healthcare technology solutions, including requirements gathering and process design.

Minimum 1 year of experience developing and executing strategic roadmaps for acute care facilities, supporting senior leadership.
