About the job RQ10224 - Technology Architect
Must Have:
· 15+ years hands-on experience with IBM RACF administration in z/OS mainframe environments.
· Proficiency with IBM zSecure suite for RACF auditing and automation tasks.
· Demonstrated knowledge and operational support experience with Mainframe technology in a large scale environment similar as the Government of Ontario and 10+ years demonstrated experience in complex projects related to installation/setup, migrations and upgrades.
· Solid understanding of z/OS system internals, TSO/ISPF, JCL, JES2/3, and general mainframe architecture.
· Excellent communication skills to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
1. RACF Technical Expertise – 40%
· 15+ years hands-on experience with IBM RACF administration in z/OS mainframe environments.
· Proficiency with IBM zSecure suite for RACF auditing and automation tasks.
2. Mainframe Systems Knowledge – 40%
· Demonstrated knowledge and operational support experience with Mainframe technology in a large scale environment similar as the Government of Ontario and 10+ years demonstrated experience in complex projects related to installation/setup, migrations and upgrades.
· Solid understanding of z/OS system internals, TSO/ISPF, JCL, JES2/3, and general mainframe architecture.
· Comfortable with utilities for security maintenance (e.g., IRRUT200/IRRUT400, RLIST/SETROPTS).
3. Security & Compliance experience – 10%
· Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI DSS, HIPAA).
· Experience with access control best practices and risk management.
4. Communication & Interpersonal – 10%
· Excellent communication skills to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Ability to translate technical security risks into business impact insights.
