Typical tasks and activities associated with role include, but are not limited to, the following:
a) Provide systems administration and systems operations support, including setting up user access, user profiles, backup and recovery, and day-to-day computer systems operations;
b) Perform software upgrades and apply patches;
c) Provide customer interface to ensure requested changes are implemented;
d) Monitor computer workload trends and make adjustments to ensure optimum utilization of computer resources; and
e) Provide expertise in the areas of IT Infrastructure, Servers and Operating Systems to development teams.

  • Troubleshooting and making modifications in Digital Workplace Catalog (DWPC) and DWP
  • Data configuration and installing/patching BMC ITSM (ARS, AI, CMDB, ITSM, RKM, SLM) plus Smart IT and DWP & DWPC all v20.x and newer
  • Smart Reporting install, configurations, and customization as per the client requirements
  • Review remedy workflow via dev-studio and troubleshoot performance issues including, enabling logs and identifying workflows or platform aspects from a root cause analysis
  • Ability to run BMC utilities for post DB copy updates, foundation data loads (manually or through DMT tool)
  • Analyzing SOAP, REST and atrium-integrator based integrations
