Job Description:
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with approximately 3 years of experience to join a dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong software testing fundamentals, experience with automated testing, and hands-on experience using Playwright.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Create and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright.
- Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document and track software defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews and other Agile ceremonies.
- Conduct API and integration testing where required.
- Maintain clear and accurate test documentation and reports.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards and automation coverage.
- Assist with identifying potential risks and quality issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure applications meet expected functionality, reliability and performance standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Approximately 3 years of experience in a QA/Test Engineering role.
- Proven experience with Playwright and automated testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience with manual and automated testing.
- Experience writing and maintaining test cases and test scripts.
- Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman is advantageous.
- Understanding of SQL/database testing is advantageous.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
