Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our client's finance team. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience across core financial functions.
Key Responsibilities
-Preparing Management Accounts
-Income Statement and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
-Reporting to Trial Balance level
-VAT/PAYE/Provisional Tax/Income Tax preparation and submission
-Accounts Payable management
-Accounts Receivable management
-Financial Statement preparation
-Budgets
-Forecasts
-Attention to detail
-Ability to perform and review the full accounting function
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or similar (Diploma or Degree)
- 2 years'+ experience in an accounting or finance role with articles or industry experience.
- Basic understanding of VAT and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
Advantageous
- Experience working with accounting software (e.g. Sage or similar)
- Experience in a consulting, ICT, or project-based environment
