Job Description:

Key responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership – Design & own the 3‑5 year sales roadmap aligned with product, marketing, and finance.
  2. Team Building & Scale – Recruit, onboard, coach, and scale the sales force (inside & field) to achieve quota.
  3. Revenue Growth – Identify & execute on new verticals, geographic markets, and account‑penetration opportunities.
  4. Marketing – responsible for marketing portfolio.
  5. Sales Forecasting & Analytics – Deliver accurate forecasting, dashboards, and insights to exco and the board and board‑adjacent stakeholders.
  6. Innovation & Thought Leadership – Keep ahead of industry trends, adopt cutting‑edge sales tech & methodology.
  7. Client & Partner Relationships – Act as the relationship architect for C‑suite accounts, partners, and ecosystem influencers.

Qualifications:

  1. 10+ yrs in senior sales roles, with at least 4 yrs as a CRO/CXO or equivalent; proven track record.
  2. Minimum 15-20% YoY revenue growth in previous role
  3. Experience in Technology products & services
  4. Experience developing GTM strategy, pricing, and sales methodology
  5. Comfortable using CRM (Salesforce), analytics, and sales ops tooling; proven to build dashboards.
  6. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
  7. Bachelor's in Business/Marketing/Finance. MBA or equivalent preferred.

Just a note, whereas we current serve the local government sector and need someone who has experience selling into this sector (and hopefully contacts), we also sell into the private sector and have an aggressive push into that world which the CSO will also need to navigate.
