About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Penetration Tester Consultant to support our offensive security initiatives. This role involves performing security assessments, simulating real-world cyberattacks, and uncovering potential weaknesses in infrastructure, applications, and systems. You will collaborate with internal security teams, IT stakeholders, and external clients to provide actionable insights and risk mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute penetration tests across networks, applications (web/mobile), cloud platforms, and physical environments
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and exploit development
  • Simulate adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) in alignment with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK
  • Provide detailed technical reports and executive-level summaries
  • Recommend remediation strategies and support mitigation planning
  • Work alongside blue teams and incident responders to enhance detection and defense
  • Stay up to date with the latest attack vectors, tools, and threat actor behaviors

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in ethical hacking or offensive security roles
  • Expertise in tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Cobalt Strike, or similar
  • Solid knowledge of network protocols, application security, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (OWASP, NIST, MITRE)
  • Strong reporting and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Relevant certifications preferred: OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GXPN, or similar

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in red teaming, threat emulation, or purple teaming
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001)
  • Prior consulting experience or client-facing roles
