About the Role

As a Female Indigenous Ranger, you will:
Conduct land management and conservation activities
Protect and monitor cultural heritage sites
Perform environmental monitoring and reporting
Manage weeds and biosecurity
Maintain fencing, tracks, and property infrastructure
Participate in fire management activities
Work collaboratively with a supportive ranger team
Engage in cultural activities and ceremonies

Requirements

Essential:

  • Indigenous Australian (Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander)

  • Female (for cultural and operational requirements)

  • Current driver's licence (manual preferred)

  • Physical fitness for outdoor work

  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated

  • Willing to work 9 days on / 5 days off roster

Desirable (Not Essential):

  • Previous ranger or land management experience

  • Traditional land management knowledge

  • Connection to Country

  • Fencing or machinery experience

  • First aid certificate

  • 4WD experience

  • Chainsaw or brush cutter tickets
