Job brief

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support and enhance the plant network infrastructure and IT operations in a manufacturing environment.

This role is critical in ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performance connectivity across production lines, warehouses, and office systems—directly impacting operational uptime and efficiency. You will work at the intersection of IT and OT (Operational Technology), supporting both business systems and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day network operations across plant and office environments, including switches, routers, wireless, and firewalls.
  • Provide 2nd-level technical support (24/7 on-call) for incident response, root cause analysis, and escalation handling.
  • Ensure high availability of networks supporting production systems (e.g., MES, SCADA, IoT devices).
  • Perform preventive maintenance and network performance tuning to minimize downtime in production environments.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors on structured cabling (copper/fiber) for plant expansions or upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation and asset records (e.g., FNT or equivalent tools).
  • Support and lead network-related projects, including plant setup, line expansion, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams to ensure network readiness for manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IT/OT security standards and industrial network best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, IT, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure and support. Preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Solid experience in network configuration and implementation based on standard designs.
  • Familiarity with structured cabling systems and vendor coordination
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional (CCNA or CCNP) are highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
