Job brief
We are seeking high performers with a proven track record of success in the Fintech industry. These individuals will have the opportunity to help grow our client's business, a leading Fintech company in the debt management industry with operations in Southeast Asia. The company has a platform that aims to deliver the best customer experience and operational excellence to support its customers.
The Managing Director role entails overall profit and loss responsibility for the Thailand entity. This includes designing and implementing collection operations strategy, standard operating procedures, and compliance. The role also involves developing strategic operating plans aligned with the board's long-term objectives and reporting to the Group CEO.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing business strategies, strengthening standard operating procedures and plans for Thailand, aimed towards the profitable growth and operation of the company.
- Set up comprehensive business goals for performance and growth.
- Overseeing daily Company operations and putting in place adequate operational planning and financial control systems.
- Proactively explore & tap business collaborations with local and international valued clientele, agencies and financial institutions, to add value to the company CMSs growth strategy.
- Establish strong rapport with related government agencies, private entities and business collaborators in promoting Company services.
- Proactively evaluate company and people performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Expertly manage positive relationships with market players in financial investment, new financial portfolios and debt acquisition You will enthusiastically participate in business expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, and corporate alliances relevant to the Company's business initiatives).
- Ensuring that the operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by the management and other employees.
- Assume full accountability to the board for all company operations.
- Take the lead on building and maintaining an effective executive team.
- Experience in setting up operations from the start will be advantageous.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field is preferred; MBA will be highly preferred.
- A minimum of 12+ years experience in collections at a financial institution or other third party collection company (advantage).
- A minimum of 5 years of management or supervisory level experience with proven abilities of effectively leading a team.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in leading a P&L.
- Have some experience in dealing with regulatory reporting in Asset sales.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, reason, solve problems, and prioritize work independently.
- Par excellence communication and interpersonal skills
