Job brief
This position is responsible for the business development of the profitability of the Specialty Ingredients export business in Global Markets, conducting Market Research & Insights for new products, managing Marketing and Promotion, managing Global Key Accounts and executing new Product Launches
Responsibilities
- Works closely with senior leadership to explore and develop strategies for market entry, and business expansion for new and existing products in B2B channels for Global Markets.
- Develop strategic business partnerships for Global markets working closely with regional sales leads and managing relationships with global key Accounts.
- Contribute towards new Product development for Specialty Ingredients (Enzymes, Dietary Fibers, Specialty Oils, Textile Fibers and others) by conducting market research on market size, demand, pricing and key macro trends in the industry and help build business cases for CAPEX approvals.
- Manage and track forecasts for marketing budget and annual sales targets by analyzing actual periodic numbers and liaising with the regional sales teams.
- Work closely with internal external R&D, Legal and Regulatory teams for new product market clearance and product safety compliance dossiers
- Controls, reviews and monitors forecast accuracy and forecast bias results, both in business units and for the total by category
- Plans and manages the inventory of finished goods H products to meet customer service requirements; and takes appropriate actions to solve issues
- Communicates and coordinates with concerned parties, both internal and external on projects, issues and proposed corrective actions
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field
- Bachelors Degree in International Business Management or related fields; MBA or Masters Degree in Business Management, Logistics Planning and Business Administration a plus
- 10 years of work experience in Business development and sales, online B2B Sales Channels, Management of Marketing Content and Communications
- Preferable candidate who has sales experience in food ingredients and English proficiency
- Export Business (food ingredient or food product) and Product development
- Strategic Thinking with Good Business Acumen; Forecasting Management, Sales and Distribution; Analysis; Planning, Problem Solving & Decision Making; Identification of Critical Concerns; Computer; and Strong Written and Spoken Communication Skills in Thai & English
- Leadership, Creativity, Detail- Oriented, Works Independently or with Minimal Supervision
