Dropshipping Manager (DCM002)
Job Description:
Foreground is partnering with a leading retail group in Saudi Arabia to appoint a Dropshipping Manager who will drive the launch and management of the companys new dropshipping model within its e-commerce division. The role requires a commercially minded professional who can bridge strategy and execution, building partnerships with large-scale dropship providers, overseeing assortment expansion, and ensuring operational alignment across IT, logistics, and merchandising functions.
Role Summary
This position is central to establishing the foundation of the companys dropship operations. The selected professional will identify and onboard a limited number of large-scale dropship partners (trade houses or distributors), integrate their catalogues into the companys platform, and manage the end-to-end process from vendor selection to sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dropship Strategy & Growth
- Design and execute the dropshipping model to expand product assortment from limited in-house SKUs to large-scale partner catalogues.
- Identify and negotiate with key dropship providers or trade houses offering extensive SKUs aligned with the companys product positioning.
- Define integration priorities, pricing frameworks, and category selection strategies in coordination with internal stakeholders.
2. Vendor Management & Compliance
- Onboard and manage dropship vendors, ensuring service quality, delivery timelines, and SLA adherence.
- Collaborate with partners to test product feasibility and streamline operations before scaling.
- Monitor vendor performance and recommend process or commercial improvements.
3. Operational Integration
- Coordinate with IT and logistics teams to implement technical integrations, SKU synchronization, and order management processes.
- Oversee shipment flow in collaboration with logistics and ensure compliance with customs requirements for cross-border personal shipments.
- Guarantee data accuracy, pricing consistency, and seamless product visibility on the e-commerce platform.
4. Commercial & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with category managers, finance, and marketing teams to align dropship assortment with business objectives.
- Track sales, conversion, and fulfillment KPIs to assess growth and vendor efficiency.
- Support the e-commerce team in achieving sales targets through performance insights and assortment optimization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in e-commerce, dropshipping, vendor management, or category operations.
- Proven success in managing partnerships with trade houses or large-scale distributors.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with commercial acumen in pricing and assortment strategy.
- Hands-on experience in API/product catalogue integrations and logistics coordination.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Saudi nationals preferred; expatriates with GCC e-commerce experience may also be considered.
