Foreground is partnering with a leading creative agency to appoint an Art Director (Events & Exhibitions).
About the Role
The Art Director (Events & Exhibitions) is responsible for the creative vision and delivery of all visual elements for event and exhibition projects. This role ensures that every design, from spatial layouts to branding, is executed to the highest standard and aligns with client objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and direct visual concepts for event spaces, exhibition booths, and brand activations
- Guide the design team through the execution of large-scale event and exhibition projects
- Ensure all visual assets are consistent with brand guidelines and client requirements
- Collaborate with 3D designers, production teams, and fabricators to ensure creative feasibility
- Present creative concepts and solutions to clients and internal stakeholders
- Review and approve final designs, ensuring quality and consistency across all deliverables
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and event design technologies
- Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of creativity and collaboration
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in art direction, specifically for events and exhibitions
- Strong portfolio showcasing event, exhibition, and spatial design projects
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, 3D design software, and visualization tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Thorough knowledge of fabrication, materials, and event production processes
- Experience working with regional and international brands is preferred
