Country Director (ECD001)
Job Description:
Foreground is exclusively partnering with a global experiential agency to appoint a high-impact, commercially sharp, and culturally fluent Country Director, to lead the companys newly launched Saudi Arabia operations. This is a foundational role responsible for building the agencys presence in the Kingdom, securing strategic partnerships, ensuring operational excellence, and serving as the key local representative of an internationally renowned brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development of the agencys KSA presence, setting commercial, operational, and cultural direction for the Riyadh office.
- Build and maintain executive relationships with key clients, government bodies, giga-project stakeholders, and commercial partners.
- Oversee P&L for Saudi operations, including business development, project delivery, and organizational scaling.
- Act as the brand ambassador for the agency in Saudi Arabia, ensuring that all output reflects international standards and localized excellence.
- Recruit, lead, and mentor the core local team including operations, creative, strategy, and production leads.
- Serve as the liaison between global HQ and local execution, aligning systems, culture, and client expectations.
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi commercial regulations, labor law, and industry requirements.
- Lead the agencys response to government tenders, RFPs, and strategic pitches.
Ideal Profile
- 15+ years in event marketing, brand activations, or experience agency leadership, with strong exposure to the Saudi market.
- Proven track record of launching or scaling agency operations in KSA.
- Strong business acumen, client engagement expertise, and high-level stakeholder management.
- Arabic and English fluency required.
- Executive presence with deep familiarity of Vision 2030 programs, NEOM, and public-private partnership dynamics.
