A leading provider of AIDC (Automatic Identification & Data Capture) solutions, specialising in barcode scanners, RFID systems, mobile computers. 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Account Sales Manager to expand AIDC equipment sales. You will be responsible for nurturing key accounts, driving revenue growth, and positioning our solutions as industry-leading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for AIDC hardware/software (e.g., scanners, printers, RFID).
  • Client Relationships: Serve as the primary liaison for key accounts, understanding their operational needs and proposing tailored AIDC solutions.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and onboard new clients (e.g., warehouses, retailers, hospitals) through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Technical Sales: Collaborate with presales engineers to demonstrate product value, address technical queries, and ensure seamless adoption.
  • Channel Management: Strengthen partnerships with distributors, system integrators, and VARs (Value-Added Resellers).
  • Industry Expertise: Stay updated on AIDC trends (e.g., IoT integration, cloud-based tracking) to advise clients on future-proof solutions.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales pipelines and provide monthly performance updates to leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in AIDC, industrial automation, or enterprise hardware/software.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with AIDC technologies (barcoding, RFID, vision systems) and their applications.
  • Skills:
    • Proven track record in quota-carrying sales roles.
    • Ability to translate technical features into business benefits.
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to visit clients and attend trade shows.
