Product Development Manager
Four Squared Solutions is seeking a Product Development Manager for an opportunity located in South Florida
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Development Manager to join our team. This role will focus on managing the operational guest experience planning, logistics, and execution of programming materials to support the onboard marketing and operational effectiveness. This role requires a creative and analytical strategic thinker, who can seamlessly blend operations, hospitality, and guest experience to deliver a remarkable experience for our guests.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of marketing communications experience, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Proven ability to manage projects to deadlines with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assists Sr. Director with setting expectations and outlining the participation expectations with the guest chefs and enrichment lecturers, including securing biography, headshots, and content i.e. recipes, and presentations. Facilitate any procurement requests needed for their onboard presentations and submit them to Operations/Purchasing team at minimum 60 days prior to travel
- Support expense reimbursements, and travel booking set-up details with Guest Operations team ensuring all travel logistics are completed.
- Manage the pre-planning of guest chef and enrichment lecturers programming, ensuring delivery of the activity plan and programming content to the ship.
- Facilitate planning coordination with Hotel Operations/Corporate Chef and Purchasing team to ensure all logistics are reviewed and approved and submitted to the ship at minimum 7 days prior to travel including all collateral needed to support the travel side.
- Support relationships with guest talent and effectively partner to build and implement opportunities to elevate the onboard product and guest experience of the travel Brand.
- Assist with other projects and assignments, as needed.
Content Management:
- Ensure that materials for internal distribution and onboard advertising, including any printed collateral and guest experience program content, are always up to date and provided to the onboard teams in advance.
- Manage the development and execution of programming content and onboard activities planning memos, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Proofread and edit marketing materials to maintain high standards of quality.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Maintain talent content and contract files, ensuring all programs are executed as planned and content is available for the marketing team.
