Responsible for execution of assigned projects, and overseeing their smooth passage from the design phase to production and installation in the field.
Responsible for the careful management of client/company relationships ensuring that clients expectations are well managed within the confines of the signed Scope of Works.
Responsible for managing and liaising with the design team regarding all necessary design considerations for assigned projects.
Responsible for managing and liaising with the Contract Administration team regarding all necessary budget considerations for assigned projects.
Responsible for requisition of goods, materials and labour for assigned projects within project budgets and assist in attaining correct costings.
Responsible for the site management and WHS compliance for all assigned projects.
- To maintain a tidy, orderly work environment at all times
- Produce all assigned projects by the agreed completion date
- To ensure assigned projects are delivered with minimal defects and to client satisfaction
- To observe and provide feedback on design considerations on all projects
- To oversee and perform all assigned projects in an industrially safe and sound manner, observing all legal and safety requirements as well as the companys WHSE&Q policies
- To ensure that the companys brand is upheld to the highest possible standard with every client contact and quality of project management
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure that delivery dates are met so projects are not delayed
- Ensure that all Due Dates are met. If delays occur, then submit a notification of delay to the Client
- Ensure all assigned projects are delivered according to the scope of work, plans, any addendums and client requirements
- Ensure that all modifications from the drawings are noted, discussed and authorised and signed by client before proceeding
- Implement, update and maintain construction programs
- Ensure invoice requests are submitted to the Finance & Administration team on time and according to terms
- Ensure all possible variations are invoiced to Client prior to project completion and handover
- Ensure all projects are executed within budget parameters
- Ensure the quality of workmanship and materials supplied by subcontractors meet the requirements of the contract documents
- Approve invoices, receipt orders and arrange manuals for the Client at handover
- Ensure that all assigned projects comply with the Safety requirements as determined by Company Policy and Procedures
- Report to Project Director on status of assigned projects
- Ensure all client and contractors calls are returned within the day
- Be respectful to clients and trades at all times
- Ensure trades and sub-contractors refrain from obscene language onsite at all times
- Conducting Risk Assessments
- Manage site supervisors daily/weekly tasks
- Treat each project with the same respect
- Detect and action unstated client assumptions
- Any adhoc task deemed appropriate by the General Manager

- Completing Projects within the timeframes agreed with clients

- To ensure liaison with the design team about any modifications or alterations that occur or are required that were not documented in our drawings
- To ensure all labour and preferred subcontractor resources are utilized to optimum levels
- To ensure a proactive approach to expanding our preferred subcontractor base to suit our business needs
