A respected nonprofit healthcare system in the Pacific Northwest is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in Orthopedics to join its rehabilitation team in Medford, Oregon. This full-time, daytime position focuses on delivering personalized orthopedic care to help patients regain mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist will evaluate, treat, and manage patients with orthopedic conditions using evidence-based therapy techniques. The role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and achieve optimal functional independence.
This role provides one-on-one patient appointments lasting approximately 45 minutes, allowing clinicians to deliver personalized, focused care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on orthopedic diagnoses
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to restore function and improve mobility
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, recovery strategies, and injury prevention
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with clinical standards and regulations

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Oregon Physical Therapist License (or eligibility upon hire)
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to perform patient evaluations, create treatment plans, and deliver orthopedic therapy services
  • Some roles may require specialized physical therapy training depending on departmental needs

Preferred Experience

  • 1-2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy
  • Experience working with orthopedic patients in outpatient or clinical settings
