Job Overview
A respected independent, non-profit healthcare organization in the Colorado Rocky Mountain region is seeking skilled X-Ray / CT Technologists to join its imaging team. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working in a collaborative clinical environment while maintaining strong technical independence.
The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and image quality. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and capable of operating across multiple imaging modalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic and CT imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Assist with fluoroscopy and operating room imaging when required
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Follow radiation safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to deliver coordinated patient care
- Maintain imaging equipment and document procedures accurately
Schedule Options
Several schedule formats are available including:
- 4x10 shifts with rotating call
- Weekday evening shifts
- Weekend block schedules
- 7 on / 7 off overnight Baylor schedule
Specific schedules will be discussed during the interview process.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) – required
- Minimum 1 year of current radiography experience (3+ years preferred)
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association prior to start date
- Ability to work confidently in multiple imaging modalities
- Strong patient care and communication skills
