Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care and management for patients with wounds, ostomies, and related conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on wound management, prevention strategies, and recovery plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to clinical standards and best practices in wound care.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license at time of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy Certification (NAWCO) or equivalent wound/ostomy certification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Medical/Surgical or Rehabilitation nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Prior experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
