Job Summary
Our client seeks an Associate Attorney who is a motivated self-starter to be responsible for handling Indiana foreclosure matters for the firm. Responsibilities may include some on-site administrative duties.
Location: This position is hybrid in the Indianapolis metro area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparation, review, and approval of foreclosure related pleadings.
- Handle all aspects of foreclosure matters including contested foreclosures.
- Participation in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, in-person hearings.
- Regular client meetings/updates.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate.
- Member in good standing with of the State of Indiana Bar
- 3 to 5 years minimum work experience handling Indiana foreclosures
- Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail, and phone).
- Provides exceptional client service.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
- Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance.
- Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking.
- Strong problem solving and organizational skill
