The Role

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for creating well-designed web pages using best practices for web development, including responsive design and mobile display. The primary focus will be creating new web pages and optimizing existing pages to improve performance. In addition to supporting with basic design and layout, this role will also need to build the pages according to the campaign brief, including implementation of any needed integrations or tracking.

The role will also oversee technical maintenance and operations of the company websites collaborating with IT as needed to ensure optimal security, performance and compliance. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the needs of the marketing team into functional and appealing web content
  • Lead the development of all new web content
  • Maintain and modify existing website content as needed; with aim to improve SEO and conversions
  • Identify and fix any website issues or bugs that arise
  • Assist in the migration of our website to a new CMS platform
  • Assist in the selection and implementation of an ecommerce platform
  • Perform regular technical audits of our website performance and advise on / implement recommendations to improve.
  • Implement and maintain integrations between our website(s) with other software in the tech stack.
  • Track and report on agreed upon website metrics.

The Person

The successful candidate will have experience in website development and optimizing web performance, as well as familiarity with search engine optimization and ecommerce best practices.

  • 3+ years' website development experience, with in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
  • Proficiency in website programming languages such as HTML, C#, CSS, Python, C++ and JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of key website design principles and SEO optimization
  • Able to test and debug websites.
  • Expert knowledge in Google tools; Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Detail oriented; ability to deliver projects on-time with little or no errors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Out-of-the-box thinker who can find solutions to complex problems
  • HubSpot knowledge preferable
  • Proficiency with content management systems. Experience with Prismic or other headless CMS platform is preferable, but not required

Success metrics

Website manager

  • Ability to meet business demands for new website pages and content
  • Ability to create web pages that meet our brand standards and perform to deliver conversions / ecommerce transactions
  • Increase web site traffic (sessions) MoM and YoY
  • Healthy metrics for page load times, time on site, bounce rate, and other key metrics
  • Increase website conversion rate and volume of inbound leads / ecommerce purchases


Overall team goals

  • Increase MQLs and contribution to Sales pipeline
  • Increase revenue both from ecommerce purchases and inbound Sales deals
