G26 - Business Analyst

Overview : We are seeking a highly capable Senior Business Consultant to support the delivery of digital initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional who communicates with clarity and confidence, demonstrates strong conviction in the mission, and excels in stakeholder and user management.

This role requires someone who can operate seamlessly across business, technology, and operational domains balancing strategic thinking with hands-on problem solving and engaging both senior stakeholders and end users effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, understanding agency objectives, operating context, and policy drivers.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to a wide range of audiences.
• Build strong user relationships, gather feedback, and ensure user needs are accurately translated into system and process requirements.
• Influence decision-making with well-structured analysis, conviction, and evidence-based recommendations.

2. Project & Programme Management

• Lead and manage major digital transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment standards 
• Drive cross-functional teams across product, engineering, design, and vendor partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Develop and track project plans, risks, dependencies, resource needs, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure adherence to IM8, SHIP-HATS, and other relevant  frameworks.

3. Business Analysis & Solution Design

• Conduct end-to-end business analysis including requirement gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, solution recommendations, and impact assessments.
• Translate business goals into actionable requirements for technical teams.
• Support feasibility studies, business case development, and benefits realization tracking.
• Think at both macro and micro levels aligning to the big picture while deep-diving into operational or technical details as needed.

4. Hands-On Delivery Support

• Perform onsite visits to agencies, project locations, or operational environments to understand ground realities.
• Conduct hands-on validation, UAT coordination, process walkthroughs, and issue triage.
• Provide practical guidance to ensure smooth implementation, operational readiness, and user adoption.

Key Requirements

Experience & Skills

• At least 7-10 years of relevant experience in business consulting, business analysis, or project management preferably in public sector or large enterprise environments.
• Proven track record running large-scale or mission-critical projects from planning to rollout.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage senior executives, ground users, and technical teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to contextualize challenges and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Comfortable with both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
• Experience working with digital services, enterprise platforms, or public-sector systems is an advantage.
• Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
• Relevant certifications (PMP, CBAP, Agile/Scrum) are a plus.
