Responsibilities

In addition to the responsibilities of a Functional Consultant, the Functional Consultant Lead will:

  • Lead and coordinate all functional consultants and related functional workstreams.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across all functional design, system configuration, and documentation.
  • Review and validate functional specifications and approve key deliverables prior to submission.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for functional issues and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Liaise with the Authority, project leads, and stakeholders to resolve integration and business process issues.
  • Oversee functional aspects of data migration, testing strategies, and implementation activities.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate executive-level workshops and discussions when required.
  • Ensure business requirements are accurately translated into system specifications and delivered in accordance with contractual obligations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance ERP system implementations, including at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with the proposed ERP SaaS product.
  • Experience leading at least 1 finance ERP implementation project of similar scope and complexity as a Functional Consultant Lead.
  • Relevant certification in the proposed ERP SaaS product is advantageous.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Singapore Government finance systems or public sector financial management is advantageous.
  • Experience delivering at least 3 finance ERP implementation projects covering core financial modules such as:
    1. General Ledger (GL)
    2. Accounts Payable (AP)
    3. Accounts Receivable (AR)
    4. Fixed Asset Management
    5. Financial Reporting
