Overview

We are looking for a Cloudera Solution Consultant to design and deliver scalable Big Data solutions for enterprise clients. This is a client-facing role that combines consulting expertise with deep technical architecture and implementation using CDP, NiFi, Spark, and the broader Hadoop ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with clients to design and implement Big Data solutions at scale
  • Architect and configure Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) and Cloudera DataFlow environments
  • Lead platform installation, upgrades, and secure cluster configurations
  • Analyze complex distributed systems and recommend performance optimizations
  • Design and present end-to-end solution architectures to stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and data architectures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Produce technical documentation, including solution designs and best practices
  • Stay current with Hadoop ecosystem and emerging Big Data technologies

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in IT and system architecture
  • 4+ years of client-facing experience in large-scale distributed systems
  • 3+ years of experience in Hadoop / Big Data architecture or 3-tier systems
  • Strong understanding of Big Data design patterns and use cases
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data integration frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with Cloudera (CDP), NiFi, Spark
  • Experience with HDFS, Apache Hive, and distributed data environments
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks (LDAP/AD, Kerberos/SPNEGO)
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and enterprise Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Java ecosystem (debugging, monitoring, profiling)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

  • Cloudera certifications (HDPCA / HDPCD)
  • Experience with streaming architectures and real-time analytics
  • Exposure to multi-industry consulting environments
  • Experience in pre-sales or solution advisory roles
