Overview
We are looking for a motivated DevSecOps Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to support CI/CD automation, cloud infrastructure management, and secure software delivery practices.
You will work closely with development teams to improve deployment workflows, automate operational processes, and maintain secure and scalable AWS environments. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working with cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and security integration within modern development pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure to support scalable and reliable applications.
- Integrate security best practices and controls within CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash or Python.
- Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to ensure secure and efficient deployment workflows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, application, and pipeline issues.
- Support basic MySQL database administration and query management.
- Contribute to improving development, operational, and deployment processes.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, and CloudFormation.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI/CD).
- Basic understanding of MySQL database management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices, security tools, and secure deployment methodologies.
- Familiarity with JavaScript development environments is an added advantage.
