About the job Practice Lead (Managed Services)
We are looking for a Practice Lead (Managed Services) to establish and grow the Managed Services practice in APAC. This role will drive the development of Managed Services offerings, solution capabilities, and delivery models, while supporting business development and customer engagements.
The Practice Lead will work closely with sales, delivery, and solution teams to position and deliver Application Managed Services (AMS), Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS), and Cloud Managed Services to enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
Practice Development
- Build and develop the Managed Services practice including service offerings, frameworks, and delivery models.
- Define and enhance Managed Services capabilities covering application support, infrastructure operations, and cloud management.
- Develop reusable assets, methodologies, and service accelerators.
Solution and Pre-Sales Support
- Work with the sales team to support solutioning for Managed Services opportunities.
- Provide technical and operational expertise during client discussions, proposals, and RFP responses.
- Design scalable service delivery models, SLAs, and governance frameworks.
Client Engagement
- Engage enterprise clients to understand their IT operations challenges and outsourcing needs.
- Provide advisory on IT service transformation, automation, and operational optimization.
- Support key client presentations and strategic engagements.
Practice Growth
- Identify opportunities to expand Managed Services offerings across industries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support account growth and cross-selling opportunities.
- Track market trends in IT outsourcing, cloud operations, and service automation.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in IT services, managed services, or IT operations.
- Strong expertise in one or more areas:
- Application Managed Services (AMS)
- Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS)
- Cloud Managed Services
- DevOps / Platform Operations
- Experience designing service delivery models and SLAs.
- Experience supporting large IT outsourcing or transformation engagements.
- Strong stakeholder management and solution consulting skills.
- Experience working in System Integrators or IT services companies.
- Knowledge of ITIL, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
- Exposure to offshore delivery models and global service operations.
