The Product/Delivery Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of products and features, while also contributing to product strategy and roadmap planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, project delivery, and a proven track record of delivering impactful products in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Product/Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Working with stakeholders to identify & understand the requirements of stakeholder's system
- Plan and participate in product demo sessions with stakeholders.
- Elicit and document business/user requirements and translate them into user-stories.
- Manage requirements by clarifying and reviewing them via walkthrough with stakeholders.
- Analyze requirements to drive the design or review of test cases/business model/processes.
- Works closely with the engineering team and stakeholders on delivery schedule and issues.
- Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery, and escalate issues as necessary
- Works closely with the engineering team to ensure product compliance are followed and complied
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and methodologies, aligning with government standards and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in product management and project delivery, with a focus on software or technology products
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing requirements, ability to extract essence of conversations to identify action items and responsible parties.
- Have a strong appreciation of financial planning and budgeting concepts, able to structure work and planning around constraints.
- Have a keen sense of business and operations, to be customer centric and contribute actively to how our team shapes our product and services
- Strong understanding of the cloud industry particularly in AWS.
- Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask and to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in resource allocation for both human and material to tasks as needed.
- Possess attention to detail, structure and practicality in planning, build strong rapport with stakeholders and peers
- Familiarity with government procurement and project governance processes is a plus
- Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner and/or Certified Business Analysis Professional is a plus
