Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager (Consultant Level) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience managing stakeholders, gathering requirements, and coordinating the delivery of projects, particularly within government and data-related domains. This role requires a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate multi-level stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of IT or digital projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timeline, and quality expectations.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure team adherence to Agile principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, developers, testers, and external vendors.
  • Monitor and track project milestones, risks, and issues; escalate where necessary to ensure smooth execution.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation such as project plans, reports, and user acceptance test plans.
  • Engage and manage expectations of both internal and external stakeholders across varying levels of seniority.
  • Coordinate procurement processes including drafting support for Tenders, RFQs, and evaluation documentation in accordance with government standards.
  • Provide timely updates and reports to project sponsors and governance committees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in project management or business consulting roles.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience in Agile methodologies and Agile project delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders, elicit requirements, and translate needs into actionable plans.
  • Experience working with government agencies or on government procurement processes (e.g., Tender, RFQ).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functional and organizational boundaries.
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience managing data governance, data integration, or analytics-related projects.
  • Familiarity with IM8 or other government IT governance and compliance frameworks.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, or equivalent project management certification.
