About the job VP Business & Solution (Public Sector)
We are seeking a high-performing VP Business & Solution for Public Sector to drive strategic IT services sales across Singapore and the APAC region. The successful candidate will focus on developing and executing growth strategies targeting government agencies, public healthcare institutions, and other public sector entities. This individual contributor role requires strong experience in managing large deal pursuits and maintaining high-level stakeholder relationships, particularly within the public sector domain.
Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain trusted relationships with C-level executives, government decision-makers, and senior leadership across public sector organizations in Singapore and APAC.

Develop and execute an annual sales plan aligned with FPTs strategic objectives for the public sector.

Identify new business opportunities and lead the pursuit of large-scale public sector tenders and contracts.

Define go-to-market strategies tailored for public sector clients, including multi-phased, multi-stakeholder engagement plans.

Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales efforts with overall business goals.

Ensure all sales communications and activities support the sales plan and enhance FPTs visibility in the public sector.

Lead market research and competitive analysis to refine sales tactics and value propositions.

Manage multiple channel strategies for public sector engagement, while recommending improvements based on insights and industry trends.
Requirements:

Minimum 15 years of experience selling IT services, with a focus on the public sector in Singapore and/or the broader APAC region.

Proven track record in managing a sales portfolio of USD 30M and above.

Successfully closed at least one large deal (TCV USD 20M) in the public sector.

Prior experience with large IT services firms and government procurement processes.

Strong understanding of public sector business cycles, regulatory environment, and digital transformation needs.

Demonstrated ability to formulate gross-profit plans, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Capable of developing annual sales forecasts, quotas, and achieving high-volume sales targets.
