About the job Technical Project Manager

  • In this role, you will oversee and control the operations of multiple on-going projects that are executed by offshore project teams, ensure robust governance, alignment, and communication across all levels. 
  • Responsible for monitoring and driving improvement in project operations, focusing on governance frameworks, delivery process, team structure, and communication protocol. 
  • While direct project execution is handled by offshore project managers and technical leads, you will play a critical role in ensuring that project operations flow smoothly and effectively in a structured layer-to-layer approach (Lead-to-Lead, Project Manager-to-Project Manager). 
  • Support administrative works related to on-going projects, also consolidate insights and provide structured monthly reports to both customers management team and our internal leadership, highlighting project progress, risks & next actions. 


Requirements:

  • Requires strong technical acumen to understand discussions across a diverse technology landscape, combined with excellent project management and operational governance expertise.

Technical and Domain Skills Require a solid technical foundation to follow and support discussions on: 

  • Cloud & infrastructure: Azure Cloud Services: Azure VM, Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Storage, Azure API Management, Azure API Gateway. 
  • System Design: Monolithic Architecture, Microservices Architecture 
  • Backend App Development: Java (Springboot, Spring MVC), .NET 4.5, NodeJS 
  • Frontend & Mobile: ReactJS, Android (Kotlin), iOS (Swift) 
  • Database: Azure SQL, MS SQL, CosmosDB 
  • Integration & Messaging: REST APIs, Kafka, Azure Message Queue, Firebase Messaging, APNS 
  • DevOps & Monitoring: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana 

Project Management and Operations:

  • Extensive experience in managing or overseeing large-scale, multiple project environments, with direct accountability for ensuring project governance and operational efficiency. 
  • Expertise in establishing and enforcing communication models that ensure alignment, facilitating effective engagement between customer and offshore teams. 
  • Strong background in project operations, with a focus on improving delivery processes, governance structures, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Familiar with the administrative works related to on-going projects: timesheet-invoice process, resource onboarding/offboarding/replacement process. 

Leadership and Communication:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a track record of proactively identifying issues and ensuring resolution, especially under tight timeline. 
  • Confident communicator who can engage with both technical and business stakeholders, build consensus, and represent project interests effectively. 
  • Proactive leadership style, adept at handling competing priorities and driving teams toward successful delivery in dynamic, fast-paced environments. 
  • Collaborative, open mindset that fosters teamwork across diverse technical and business teams. 
  • Skilled in preparing clear & actionable reports and presentation for senior management.
