We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible HR Intern to support the HR team in HR operations, payroll coordination, and foreign workforce administration. This internship offers hands-on exposure to Singapore HR practices, particularly related to employee engagement, relations, governance and MOM work pass administration.

Responsibilities

Onboarding & New Joiner Support

  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new joiners, including onboarding checklists.
  • Arrange first-day logistics such as system access requests, equipment coordination, and welcome communications.
  • Support orientation sessions and ensure onboarding documentation is completed and properly filed.
  • Supporting point of contact for basic onboarding-related queries from new employees.
  • Support employee engagement activities and internal HR initiatives when required.

Foreign Employee Work Pass & Vendor Management

  • Support administration of work passes (EP, S Pass, Work Permit) for foreign employees.
  • Track work pass validity, medical examinations, insurance, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain proper records and trackers in accordance with MOM regulations.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR databases.
  • Assist with HR reporting (e.g. headcount, joiners, leavers, work pass status).
  • Respond to basic HR-related queries and escalate when necessary.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Comfortable handling data, spreadsheets, and documentation.
  • Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • High level of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Willingness to learn Singapore employment regulations and HR operations.
  • Prior administrative or HR-related internship experience is a plus.
