Senior Solution Architect – Data & AI (Modern Data Platforms & AI)

Role Summary

We are hiring a hands-on Senior Solution Architect to lead architecture, presales, and delivery across modern data platforms and AI solutions spanning cloud-native, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

This role operates flexibly across presales, delivery, or both within a client engagement, shaping solutions, contributing to bids, and ensuring execution aligned to business outcomes.

This role is suited for architects who can independently shape, win, and deliver complex Data & AI solutions.

You will work with highly technical clients and strong offshore engineering teams, where your value is measured by depth of data & AI expertise, clarity of solution structuring, consulting, storytelling, and ability to influence outcomes from day one.

What You Will Do

• Define end-to-end Data & AI architectures across data ingestion, processing, serving, and consumption layers
• Apply architecture frameworks, design patterns, and well-architected principles. Design across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments
• Ensure alignment to scalability, reliability, security, governance, and performance expectations. Architect and deliver large-scale, enterprise-grade data and AI systems
• Lead solutioning end-to-end in presales, including shaping proposals, defining architecture, and creating differentiated technical positioning
• Prototype, validate, and guide implementation across modern data platforms and AI pipelines
• Drive modernization: Legacy data platforms to modern data platforms (Lakehouse / Data Platform), Batch to Streaming, Data to AI-ready foundation
• Define data models, data contracts, governance, and quality patterns
• Solve data engineering and distributed system challenges (data quality, latency, scaling, cost optimization)
• Design and implement enterprise AI solutions, including:
• ML pipelines and MLOps
• GenAI architectures (RAG, embeddings, semantic search)
• Agent-based workflows and AI-driven automation
• Collaborate with strong offshore engineering teams that require architectural depth and influencing through deep technical guidance, sharing the solution proposal workload by holding the pen, not supervision
• Build compelling demos, POCs, and architecture artefacts proactively to support the solution proposal
• Able to navigate enterprise complexity and collaborate with various teams to identify relevant success stories, benchmarks, and modernization patterns

• Continuously learn, adapt, and stay current with evolving Data & AI technologies

Requirements

• 15+ years in end-to-end SDLC / data engineering with extensive hands-on architecture experience (consistently operating in an architect role for minimum 6 years)
• Proven track record architecting, designing, and delivering large-scale Data & AI solutions in production
• Experience across presales, solutioning, and delivery
• Good to have experience & exposure in Cyber Security and Cloud Architecture

Strong experience & expertise in:

• Modern data platforms (lakehouse, distributed data systems)
• Data engineering, governance, and enterprise data architecture
• AI/ML and GenAI solution architectures

Hands-on exposure to:

• Leading data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Fabric or equivalent)
• Distributed data processing and streaming systems
• MLOps and AI deployment pipelines
