We are seeking an experienced Senior Presales Solution Architect to play a key role in driving business growth across multiple strategic customers. This role will serve as a trusted technical advisor during the presales cycle, partnering with sales and business development teams to uncover opportunities, shape solutions, and position FPT as the partner of choice. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong client engagement skills, able to design compelling solutions, deliver persuasive presentations, and lead proof-of-concepts that demonstrate business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement & Discovery
    Work directly with customers to understand business drivers, technical requirements, and transformation objectives.
    Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and technical assessments to capture requirements and identify opportunities.
  • Solution Design & Architecture
    Design end-to-end solutions aligned with customer needs, leveraging FPTs offerings and ecosystem partnerships.
    Ensure solutions address critical non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and maintainability.
    Create high-level architecture diagrams, roadmaps, and integration blueprints for proposals and client discussions.
  • Presales & Business Development Support
    Collaborate with Sales teams to qualify opportunities, craft winning strategies, and contribute to account growth.
    Lead the preparation of technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, solution write-ups, and statements of work (SOW).
    Build and deliver solution presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to showcase technical feasibility and business value.
    Position FPTs differentiators against competitors, ensuring solutions highlight innovation and ROI for customers.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Building
    Partner with internal delivery, product, and engineering teams to validate solution feasibility and ensure smooth handover from presales to execution.
    Maintain and share a strong technical knowledge base, reusable assets, and best practices across the presales community.
    Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to inform presales strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8 - 12 years of experience in IT / software solutions, with at least 3 years in presales or client-facing solution architecture.
  • Strong track record of designing cloud, digital transformation, or enterprise system solutions that contributed to successful deal closures.
  • Deep knowledge of solution architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, serverless) and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on ability to design and present solution prototypes, demos, or POCs.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills to influence both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Sales, Product, and Delivery teams.
  • Experience responding to RFPs / RFIs, building proposals, and leading presales technical engagements.
