Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust Ruby applications

Build APIs and back-end components for web and mobile applications

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security

Integrate data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL databases)

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices

Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers

Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers

Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications
Requirements

Proven experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails (RoR) framework

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)

Experience working with RESTful APIs

Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)

Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

Understanding of automated testing and test-driven development (TDD)

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
