Prepare resource planning, project planning, cost estimating, schedule development, schedule control, and performance reporting in developing the project plan, and assist superior with information in order to achieve division and company's objective in Underground Mining.

Job Responsibility :

  1. Reviewing and interpreting specifications and blueprints: Ensuring that mechanical and piping systems comply with design requirements.
  2. Inspecting installations: Conducting visual and non-destructive testing of mechanical and piping systems, including welds, joints, and materials.
  3. Analyzing test results: Preparing comprehensive reports documenting inspection processes and findings.
  4. Identifying and addressing non-conformance issues: Initiating corrective actions and verifying their implementation.
  5. Collaborating with project teams: Working with contractors and project teams to ensure quality standards are met.
  6. Staying updated with industry standards: Implementing changes in quality control processes as necessary.
  7. Providing technical assistance: Offering guidance to site personnel during installation, repair, and maintenance of systems.
  8. Performing project documentations: Creating and collecting all project documentation including all the report associated with the project and submitted to Quality Assurance team.
  9. Performing audits: Conducting periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of quality control systems and processes.

Educational background: Mechanical engineering, quality assurance, or a related field with 5 years' experience in same field, preferable experience in mechanical piping design and quality assurance.

Qualification: Certified ISO 9001 Quality Management System is preferable.

Certifications: Professional certifications such as ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) certification.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and material properties, 
  • Proficiency in CAD software, strong understanding of mechanical design principles, and familiarity with QA/QC processes and standards.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical and piping systems.
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring precision in inspections and tests.
  • Problem-solving abilities: Strong skills in troubleshooting and developing solutions.
  • Communication skills: Effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
