GCSP is General Construction Special Project, one of division in PT Freeport Indonesia. This purpose of this position is Organize, execute, monitor, and coordinate with related parties for training and safety compliance of all projects under GCSP Department to assure in compliance with PTFI policies and procedures in order to mitigate and eliminate any potential risks.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

  1. Plan, organize, coordinate and monitor the training schedule (specific and refresher training) for employees under GCSP Department in Lowland and Highland area to ensure comply with PTFI standard and policy.
  2. Organize and execute safety and health implementation program to ensure comply with the current PTFI standard, policy and regulation.
  3. Execute and monitor safety and health inspection and audit programs to ensure the target is achieved.
  4. Identify the top risk and mitigation plan and socialize to employees to prevent fatality and accident.
  5. Review and distribute the safety accountability achievement to fulfill the target that set up by Department/Division.
  6. Conduct emergency and evacuation drill practice to ensure each area have performed the practice routine and periodically.
  7. Organize weekly and monthly safety meeting including Fatal Risk Management (FRM) for all projects area.


The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

Minimum Education & Experience
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or any background related.
  • 2+ years working experiences in construction industry, preferably experience in safety and health compliance for projects.
  • Experienced in dealing with various groups, especially contractor.
Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters)
  • Able to conduct accident investigation.
  • Understand safety and health standards.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good in report writing, both in Indonesian and English.
  • Teamwork player.
  • Flexible with working hours.
  • Computer skills (Ms. Excell, Power Point, Word) minimum Intermediate level
