Position Title : Process Engineer

Work Location : Gresik, East Java

Employment Type : 12-month contract based with possibility extension

The purpose of this position / Fungsi dari posisi ini:

Under the direct supervision of Technical Service Manager, Process Engineer is expected to provide technical advice and guidance for process optimization in metal accounting, production planning, inventory control within the Manyar Smelter and Precious Metal Refinery plant. Process Engineers will also manage or participate in process improvement projects./ Di bawah pengawasan langsung Manajer Technical Service, Insinyur Proses diharapkan dapat memberikan berbagai bantuan untuk Seksi Metacc-PPIC, termasuk segala pekerjaan terkait metal accounting, production planning, inventory control, pelaporan, dan audit.

The key duties and responsibilities of this position/ Tugas dan tanggung jawab utama posisi ini:

1. Do the calculation for metal balance and metal recovery for the Manyar Smelter and Precious Metal Refinery plant. The calculation will be reported in reguler report./ Melakukan perhitungan untuk neraca logam dan rekoveri logam untuk pabrik Manyar Smelter dan Precious Metal Refinery. Perhitungan ini akan dilaporkan dalam laporan rutin.
2. Track, monitor, and analyse all metal WIP (work-in-progress) inside the operation unit./ Melacak, memantau, dan menganalisis seluruh WIP logam di dalam unit operasi.
3. Create regular report for government of Indonesia based on data production./ Membuat laporan rutin kepada pemerintah Indonesia berdasarkan data produksi.
4. Coordinate with operation team and create the production planning on monthly and quarterly cadence for Manyar Smelter and Precious Metal Refinery plant./ Berkoordinasi dengan tim operasi dan membuat rencana produksi secara bulan dan kuarter untuk pabrik Manyar Smelter dan Precious Metal Refinery.
5. Provide related and reliable data to comply the auditor needs based on SOX audit requirement./ Menyediakan data terkait dan andal untuk memenuhi kebutuhan auditor berdasarkan persyaratan audit SOX.
6. Report any inventory discrepancy and investigate potential causes/ Melaporkan jika ada selisih inventori serta menginvestigasi penyebabnya
7. Perform the regular physical verification and create the report/ Melakukan aktivitas verifikasi fisik rutin dan membuat laporannya.
8. Support ad-hoc task as needed by the company / Membantu tugas-tugas tambahan sesuai kebutuhan perusahaan

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are/ Latar belakang, pendidikan, dan pengalaman kerja yang diperlukan agar berhasil dalam pekerjaan ini:

1. Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1/D4) in metallurgical and/or material engineering or chemical Engineering discipline or related field and 2-3 years of experience in a mineral/metal processing environment. Those with specific experience in pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical operations are highly regarded./ Gelar sarjana di bidang teknik metalurgi dan/atau material atau teknik kimia dengan minimal pengalaman kerja 2-3 tahun dalam bidang mineral/pengolahan logam. Insinyur proses yang memilii pengalaman di pirometalurgi atau hidrometalurgi akan sangat diapresiasi.
2. Pengawas Operasional Pertama (POP) certified is preferred./ Sertifikasi POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) lebih diutamakan.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities / Pengetahuan, keterampilan & kemampuan :

1. Technical skill in the metallurgy field, especially pyrometallurgy and/or hydrometallurgy./ Kemampuan teknis dalam bidang metalurgi, secara khusus pirometalurgi dan/atau hidrometalurgi
2. Experienced in risk-based analysis (HAZOP, FMEA, RCAP)./ Berpengalaman dalam analisis berdasarkan risiko (HAZOP, FMEA, RCAP).
3. Professional English knowledge/ Pengetahuan bahasa Inggris profesional
4. Working knowledge of MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word)/ Memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang MS Office (Microsoft Excel dan Microsoft Word)
5. Working knowledge of SAP, PI system and other business systems would be a plus/ Memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang SAP, sistem PI dan sistem bisnis lainnya menjadi nilai tambah.
6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing/ Kemampuan untuk berkomunikasi secara efektif, baik secara lisan maupun tertulis.
