The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

1. Develop short to medium term mine infrastructure EXT & Haulage planning in development and production phase refer to DMLZ LOM Plan to define the demand, creating the schedule, and provide material requirement.

2. Monitor and control the mine infrastructure performance in order to ensure reliable supply to support development, construction and production activities.

3. Support in planning, execution, and control, specifically regarding to compliance and costs, in order to provide recommendations and ensure the project meet or exceed the targets and PTFI Safety standards.

4. Support with active field presence, by controlling and monitoring project to collect useful information for the future mine infrastructure dust suppression plans.

5. Provide all project controls support activity by coordinating and building an effective communication with related parties (Maintenance, Ventilation, Central Engineering, Survey, QA/QC, MIS, Fire Engineering.) in order to ensure all project requirements are well provided in timely manner.

6. Identify, review, and analyze non-compliance, and complaint in any related to document control and provide constructive feedback, looking after continuous improvements in piping and dewatering planning to meet with GOI and PTFI standard.

7. Provide constructive feedback and advice to Operations on safety, health and industrial hygiene performance, looking after continuous improvements in quality of design and operations and to meet with National and PTFI standard.

8. Compliance to department safety programs, safety accountabilities, regular safety inspections, identifying new safety approaches, etc., in order to achieve and ensure that all safety procedures are met.

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

Minimum Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mining engineering with 2-3 years working experience in related underground mining projects in either development or production. 
  • A working knowledge of Underground Operations activities, capabilities and structure.
