Fungsi dari posisi ini/The purpose of this position:

  1. Cost Analyst and Contract Review Supervisor will in charge of collecting and analyzing the Outbound Logistic Division costs, look for the inconsistencies and inefficiencies by tracking the costs and monitoring the expenses compare with the budget, and be able to draw conclusions and improvement from the data.
  2. This position will also in charge of reviewing all the contract related with Outbound Logistic Division such as 3rd Party Logistics (3PL), Freight Forwarder (FF), Shipping Lines, Surveyor, and other Vendors or Suppliers, and identifying any loopholes and potential legal as well as financial risks.

Tugas dan tanggung jawab utama posisi ini/The key duties and responsibilities of this position:

  1. Responsible on cost control in accordance with market and volume to benefit customers.
  2. Outbound Logistic invoice validation, coding, and approval in applicable systems.
  3. Execute the Outbound Logistic financial month and year end closing. Carry out and monitoring all activities associated with the financial closing including accruals.
  4. Analyze monthly Outbound Logistic cost reports and compare to budget, indicating trends/developments and possible causes, processing information in periodic reports, KPI dashboard, etc.
  5. Perform analytics and cost studies in support of 3PL, FF, Shipping Lines, Surveyor, and other Vendors or Suppliers, negotiations and rate proposal.
  6. Provide analytical support for Outbound Logistic strategic projects as defined by management.
  7. Identifying process improvement opportunities within the scope of cost control work processes.
  8. Contract checking and renewal based on market situation, customers need and commercial needs.

Tantangan utama pada posisi ini/The key challenges in this position:

  1. Data Update: Always be updated with the budget, actual costs and expenses, third parties or vendors actual costs and contract or agreement.
  2. Outbound Logistic Cost KPI: Responsible to monitor and maintain all the targeted Outbound Logistic Costs.
  3. Prioritizing Tasks: This position will need to prioritize tasks to ensure that all issues are addressed in a timely and efficient manner. You will on occasion need to prioritize urgent issues and handle conflicting demands from different stakeholders.
  4. Resolving Complex and Technical Issues: This role will be responsible for handling complex technical issues that the team may not be able to resolve on their own. This requires a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly.
  5. Monitoring planning vs actual: Critical part need to be addressed in terms of track, trace, and control the Outbound Logistic costs, analyze the reports and compare to budget, indicating trends/developments and possible cause, processing information in periodic reports.
  6. High Pressure Environment: Sales and Marketing are part of the commercial team and be the core to define company renevue. This position needs to be critical in seeing risk and potential and initate discussion to define solution or action plan.
  7. Compliance: Compliance and following FCX Principle of Business Conduct

Latar belakang, pendidikan, dan pengalaman kerja yang diperlukan agar berhasil dalam pekerjaan ini/The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

  1. Minimum bachelor degree industrial engineering, management, logistic/ supply chain. Master degree preferred
  2. 5-7 years of experience as planning & controlling/ logistic/ transport supervisor.
  3. Supply chain/ Six Sigma/ Logistic certification will be an advantage.
  4. Familiar with SAP and power BI
  5. Experience in automation and data analysis
  6. Knowlegde in vendor management, TMS, WMS, and logistic automation
  7. Ready to work in 7 days a week (day off can be during weekday)
Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters)
  1. Proven experience in data collection of logistics costs.
  2. Proven in engagement to 3PL (bulk, barge, containerized, and warehouse operation) on data collection and analysis.
  3. Excellent data collection, analysis, and convert it into strategy planning.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex logistic issues.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Proficiency in spoken and written English, technical and conversational.
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  8. Knowledge of commodity distribution planning and its transport mode.
  9. Experience in transport management is an advantage.
