Analyze and appraise accurate analytical and justification on hardware, software and application use in the company and develop documentation to the technician in order to provide information on the capability and reliability of the products and provide trouble shooting when problem arise.
The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:
- Conduct testing and benchmarking of any new hardware, software and operating system that will be used by department/company in order to get the information on the capability of the new IT.
- Provide analytical report and guideline/manual of the IT analyzed that will be used by technician in order to give the accurate and immediate solution relating to the problem on the field.
- Maintain and update the central server application, AutoCAD, NT windows on site to ensure the application running well.
- Enforce and control safety implementation in the work environment to minimize accident/damage.
- Develop communication with department user to eliminate hardware, software and operating system problem to support department productivity.
- Actively checking and update IT or new technology in order to ensure the existing hardware, software or application compatible with the IT.
- Responsible to maintain the MIS server installation and Anti-Virus to ensure its reliability and to support the technician in repairing the application problem.
- Responsible for designing and implement tools to support PC Support teams in order to quickly and cost effectively manage large number of desktops on site.
Minimum Education and Experience
- S1/bachelor's degree in informatics, Computer Science or equivalent;
- with a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience with strong server management expertise in an environment where supporting critical production servers in a major part of the role.
Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Characters)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems, UNIX Server Operating Systems Management methodologies, Systems Hardware management.
- Certification: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
- Strong communication, project management, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English (technical and conversational).
- Advanced computer literacy.
