The client is a U.S.-based digital marketing company focused on helping small businesses and contractors grow through online marketing, content, and sales systems. The company works with social media, podcasts, lead generation, and digital strategies to help clients improve their online presence and attract qualified opportunities.

About the role:

We're looking for a Junior Video Editor to support our client's content production on a part-time, remote PJ contract basis, starting at 5–10 hours per week with potential to grow into a higher workload or full-time role. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional with hands-on video editing experience who wants to grow with international clients, marketing content, podcasts, and social media trends.


Key responsibilities:

  • Edit podcast episodes and short-form video content for social media.
  • Use tools such as Riverside for podcast editing and OpusClip to identify and create clips.
  • Edit non-podcast video content using DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing software.
  • Organize, access, and manage video files through Google Drive.
  • Create engaging short-form videos with strong hooks, dynamic pacing, and social media-oriented storytelling.
  • Communicate clearly with the client regarding task progress, timelines, and delivery expectations.
  • Start assigned content promptly once files are shared and communicate timelines when a task may take more than 4–5 hours to complete.
  • Collaborate through the client's Slack channel and be available for direct communication via WhatsApp when needed.
  • Participate in monthly company gatherings and team moments.

Qualifications:

  • Junior-level professional with some previous experience in video editing.
  • Good understanding of the English language.
  • Familiarity with social media and podcast content trends.
  • Ability to create engaging hooks and edit videos in a dynamic, interesting, and audience-focused way.
  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools.
  • Experience with podcast editing tools such as Riverside is a plus.
  • Familiarity with OpusClip and Google Drive is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear updates.
  • Organized, reliable, proactive, and comfortable working remotely.
  • Interest in learning, growing, and contributing to creative marketing projects.
  • Must have their own equipment initially, including a laptop suitable for video editing.

Salary:

  • Contract type: PJ
  • Hourly rate: R$31.71/hour
  • Initial workload: 5 to 10 hours per week
