Global Health & Safety Director

FRONTMATEC GROUP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Health & Safety Director to join our global company. As Global Health & Safety Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees at our manufacturing sites as well as various other locations. 
In this role, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing safety standards and protocols, conducting safety audits, and providing training and guidance to employees. You will also be responsible for investigating incidents and accidents, identifying potential hazards, and implementing corrective measures.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations as well as experience in risk assessment and management. You must be able to work independently, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. In this global role you must be able to travel 40+ days per year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular safety audits at manufacturing and customer sites
• Provide safety training to employees, supervisors, and managers
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports
• Identify potential hazards and develop and implement corrective measures
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and make recommendations for improvements
• Coordinate with external agencies and consultants on safety-related matters
• Set global standards for a 0 incident culture

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management role preferred with global impact 
• Strong knowledge of relevant safety regulations
• Experience conducting safety audits and risk assessments
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Professional certifications in safety management are preferred but not required
• English is our company language.
