At our Frontmatec Service Solutions Team, we take great pride in our clients' trust in our products and in our ability to service them whenever they  need it. To ensure that we keep delivering on those expectations, we are therefore looking for new colleagues to join us in the role as Technical Service Engineers.

Our new colleagues will be responsible for providing both planned and ad-hoc hands-on service and maintenance of our equipment at customer sites. We have estimated that you will be traveling within the UK 150-200 days per year and will be spending the rest of your working time at our office in Birmingham or at your home office.

What will you need to do?

  • Perform hands-on service and maintenance of mechanical and highly automated equipment at our customer's sites.
  • Uphold a Safety-first approach to any given task.
  • Troubleshoot on equipment/process failures; take ownership to find solutions.
  • Be able to work and fulfill assignments outside of normal working hours (i.e., nights and weekends)
  • Contribute your technical competence, communication skills, and positive energy to drive and deliver solutions to our clients.

What do you need to bring?

  • Relevant educational background in mechanical maintenance and automation
  • Preferably previous experience from process equipment and automated production facilities, within the food or meat processing industries.
  • Great communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Computer literate, and confident working in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as function within a dedicated team.
  • Provide a strong service-minded Can-do attitude to our clients and your colleagues.
