About the role
This Project Coordinator will be embedded amongst our Defence community supporting all their ICT requirements to enable them to protect Australias interest. Fujitsu in Australia has a long history of delivering, supporting and maintaining systems for the Australian Defence Force across Army, Navy and Air Force.
The primary responsibility of the Project Coordinator will be to ensure that projects produce the required products, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost. They may alternatively be responsible for the delivery of a work packages within a more complex Project or Program under the governance of a Project or Program Manager.
- Providing day-to-day support, advice and guidance to the project or programme team and peer level contacts within the customer organisation.
- Managing operational performance, process effectiveness, contractual integrity, change, documentation, and management information, reporting and communication processes.
- Controlling and monitoring any potential problems and escalating issues to the appropriate project or programme team members.
- Establishing operations management systems to ensure process efficiency and alignment with corporate standards and initiatives.
- Implementing and fully communicating appropriate processes, procedures and standards for their specific discipline with other specialist areas, project or programme departments and experts to ensure a cohesive interface, and providing a point of contact for all changes to and issues within the specified processes, procedures and standards.
- Organising Project Board meetings.
- Co-ordinating collection of data from all members of the project team, consolidating that data and providing summary reports for stakeholders.
- Operating along Fujitsu working practices ensuring compliance with CSLC and Fujitsus Project Management Methodology.
- Supporting the analysis of risks and ensuring maintenance of Risk Logs.
- Creating the Program reporting both internal and external.
About you
- Experience in establishing and maintaining customer relationships and delivering a consistent, high level of customer service.
- Excellent communications (written and verbal), negotiation and self-management skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to identify potential risks and coordinate improvements, processes and solutions with stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, administration and planning skills, including the ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, provide accurate information and adapt to changing situations.
- Worked within one medium complexity project at a similar level, with clearly defined scope of work.
- Understanding and experience of the Programme/Project Office P&PM Service.
- Skills in SAP.
- Intermediate/ advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Must hold current or reinstatable AGSVA clearance!!
